The entry-level
product of this Italian organic wine company, conducted by Andrea Marcesini, Hills
of Luni, Liguria, in the North West.
It is a blend of 60%
Vermentino, 30% Trebbiano Toscano, completed by a non-aromatic grape Malvasia of
Candia; average age of the vineyard 60 years, six months aging on the lees,
only steel.
So ruled the nose and,
harmoniously, confirmed the palate: fine wine, tasty freshness, oozing water,
resin and pine nuts, mediterranean herbs, fern and white flowers, with a strong
citrusy footprint.
Fairly persistent
closure, with sharp balsamic projections and almond touches.
True and genuine.
