A récoltant family, a long history during twelve
generations, seven hectares vineyard - 6 of Pinot Noir, 1 of Chardonnay - in the Grand
Cru Aÿ village, Valley of the Marne.
This bowl is a
big bowl – magnum version - coming from the assembly of 80% of Pinot Noir and 20%
Chardonnay, three years on the lees, disgorgement november 2013, purchased
directly from the producer.
Fine effervescence, very fresh and by good intensity olfactory kit, which winds through
aromas of baking, dark fruit and citrus, with a mineral vein that bodes well
and will intensify over time.
Fragrant and
creamy mouth, which appropriately combines the power of the Pinot Noir, with the
grace of the Chardonnay. Very consistent taste, generous and frank aromatic
expression, more appreciated, because of an energetic and lasting stretch,
characterized by satisfying minerality.
A beautiful
expression of the Aÿ’s terroir.
