Giuseppe Rinaldi Barolo Cannubi San Lorenzo-Ravera 2007

Who does not know Beppe Rinaldi?

This is Nebbiolo one hundred percent, the expression of two different crus.
At the sight waiting for me a red garnet liquid with a nail which tends slightly to orange.
The nose suffered an initial volatile, that just disappears completely. It’s floral - rose and violet - in the first place, with hints of sweet spice and red berries.

The entrance is marked by thin and whispered elegance, soaked by minerality and salinity, with broadly coherent palate. The mouth is fresh with a well marked tannin, sometimes drying. Not a big pulp, I'd rather bony.

Masterly control of alcohol. Final warm and sip ending with a balsamic trail. Good reach. Great drinkability. Bottle distinguished by its "rustic" elegance, or if you prefer, elegant rusticity.

Authentic winegrower. The producer that should never miss in our cellars.
